Introducing WordPress 

Module one provides the beginner with an introduction to the WordPress platform, an overview of the differences between WordPress.org and WordPress.com and hosting capabilities. WordPress is open source software, allowing for a wide range of customization on the part of the user. You will also be introduced to various administrative functions, such as writing settings and site visibility.

WordPress Module 2
Site Content 

Module two introduces you to drafting, uploading, editing and publishing content, both written and visually.  You can completely customize what is displayed on your blog or webpage. You can add images, video links and audio to posts. This module will discuss how to insert images and videos into a post, as well as how to bulk edit posts and pages which managing content by using categories and tags.

Themes, Widgets and Plugins

Site Maintenance 

There are many tasks you can perform to make your site social and highly visible to outsiders, but you must also be aware of how to keep your site secure and running efficiently. This module we will start by discussing various ways to let visitors share content, publicize posts, choose comments settings and set up mailing lists. We will round off this course by discovering how to track site statistics, how to back up your WordPress site and how to manage passwords.
